Access through Diversity Programs: Getting certified as a woman-owned business
Many large corporations have diversity programs which help minority and women-owned businesses gain access to buyers and bid opportunities. Many rely on third-party non-profits to certify the business as minority or woman-owned.
In Indiana, Michigan Women's Business Council certifies businesses as women-owned.
